{"id":3997,"date":"2026-04-23T11:13:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T11:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bankfin.unipi.gr\/mscpublicfin\/?p=3997"},"modified":"2026-04-23T11:13:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T11:13:18","slug":"european-central-bank-scholarship-for-women-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bankfin.unipi.gr\/mscpublicfin\/anakoinoseis\/2026\/04\/23\/european-central-bank-scholarship-for-women-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"European Central Bank: Scholarship for Women 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<strong>ECB Scholarship for Women<\/strong>\u00a0is an initiative supporting female scholars from low-income background in pursuing a Master\u2019s degree in<br \/>\nthe field of economics, statistics, computing and engineering.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the scholarship will be offered to 15 outstanding candidates who will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive a grant of \u20ac10,000<\/li>\n<li>Attend a study visit at the European Central Bank with dedicated activities, such as meeting with the ECB Women in Leadership<br \/>\nNetwork<\/li>\n<li>Gain insight into the ECB\u2019s central banking and banking supervision functions<br \/>\nMeet fellow scholars and join the alumni community<\/li>\n<li>Receive advice and mentoring from an ECB economist or expert in the field of banking supervision, statistics, engineering or<br \/>\ncomputing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To be considered eligible for the programme, the candidate should meet the following eligibility criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A woman and a national of an EU country;<\/li>\n<li>Currently enrolled, or are about to enroll, in a master\u2019s course in economics, statistics, engineering or computing at a European<br \/>\nuniversity or business school;<\/li>\n<li>Facing a funding gap that may prevent them from pursuing their studies;<\/li>\n<li>Completed an undergraduate degree with excellent grades (i.e. for bachelor\u2019s degree)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ECB is an inclusive employer that strives to represent the diversity of the population it serves.
