Μελέτη μέτρησης της επίδοσης ESG των Ελληνικών εισηγμένων εταιριών.

Τον Μάρτιο του έτους 2025 ανατέθηκε, από τον Αναπληρωτή Καθηγητή Δημήτριο Κυριαζή και Δ/ντή του Εργαστηρίου Χρηματοοικονομικής των Επιχειρήσεων & Αγορών (ΕΧΕΑ), σε τριτοετείς φοιτητές (Σπύρο Δρακάτο, Βασίλη Μανούρη, & Παναγιώτα Τσιώτα) του Τμήματος Χρηματοοικονομικής & Τραπεζικής Διοικητικής και μέλη του Finance Club του ΠΑΠΕΙ μελέτη που αφορά στη μέτρηση της επίδοσης ESG των Ελληνικών εισηγμένων εταιριών με βάση το Μάϊο του 2025, όπου και ολοκληρώθηκε. Ένα από τα σημαντικά ευρήματα της μελέτης ήταν ότι από τις 62 εταιρίες του Γενικού Δείκτη του Χρηματιστηρίου Αθηνών, 25 εταιρίες (το 42% περίπου) παρέχουν τα απαραίτητα στοιχεία ESG στην διεθνή βάση δεδομένων LSEG (ex–Refinitiv) για να λάβουν αξιολόγηση στη συνέχεια και από αυτές μόνον 13 εταιρίες (22%) έχουν τις εκθέσεις ESG ελεγμένες από ανεξάρτητους ελεγκτές. Η εργασία αυτή παρουσιάσθηκε στη συνέχεια στις 13/12/2025 από την ομάδα των φοιτητών στο 23^ο Ετήσιο Συνέδριο του ΣΕΔ στα πλαίσια του μνημονίου συνεργασίας που έχει το ΕΧΕΑ με τον ΣΕΔ, και σε ειδική συνεδρία με τίτλο «Μέτρηση του ESG-Η τέχνη του αδύνατου».

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the SED 16/02/2022

On Wednesday 16/02/2022, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Laboratory of Corporate Finance and Markets, (LCFM) of the Department of Financial & Banking Management and the Hellenic Investors Association (SED). The Department was represented by the Director of the LCFM, Associate Professor, Mr. Dimitrios Kyriazis and the SED was represented by its President, Mr. Charalambos Englezos. This MoU was made in the context of the long-term cooperation of our Department with the SED, such as the Annual Programme for the Monitoring of the General Meetings of Listed Companies on a voluntary basis by students of the Department, and aims to promote new actions together with the student club Finance Club UniPi that will be related to corporate governance issues and corporate social and environmental responsibility (ESG).

ESG assessment of ASE firms (Finance Club Unipi) 9/12/2022

On Friday 9/12/2022 in the conference room (orange amphitheater) of the University of Piraeus there was a presentation of the work of a group of students of the Department of Financial & Banking Management related to the ESG rating of listed companies on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), commissioned by the Laboratory of Corporate Finance and Markets in collaboration with the student club Finance Club Unipi. This work was carried out in consultation with the President of the Hellenic Investors Association (SED, Mr. Charalambos Englezos, within the framework of our multi-year cooperation & memorandum of cooperation with the SED, the former President of the Finance Club and graduates of the Department Mrs.Christiana Tseliou and Mr. Panagiotis Dimitropoulos. Apart from Mr. Englezos, the event was attended by ASE executives, faculty members and students of the Department.
