Welcome to the site of the Master in Banking and Finance Law!
 

The Master in Banking and Finance Law offered by the Department of Banking and Financial Management at the University of Piraeus, has been designed in such a manner to equip the graduate students with modern knowledge and technical skills in theoretical and practical applications so they will ready enough for a successful career in the realm of finance.                          

The program is suitable only for graduates from law schools, while it is the only program in the Greek higher educational system that trains them to cope with complex problems and issues in the business world, as well as in financial markets. Both financial and banking markets, not only in Greece, but also on a global scale, need graduates from law schools who can understand the mechanism dominating their operation.

Moreover, the program offers both a theoretical and a practical approach in line with the fundamental values of finance which are in relevance to the daily operational life of financial markets and the banking system as well. To program also encourages a cooperative business mode, as well as the leadership role the graduates must show in order to succeed within an extreme competitive business environment. 

The academic staff that teaches in the program is of exceptionally high caliber holding

a PhD degree from US and European universities. All members of the staff are highly recognizable academic professionals with many publications in high-ranking journals, while simultaneously carry high professional experience from dealing with the business and banking sector.

I am strongly certain that our graduate program will provide the necessary knowledge and tools the modern financial and banking environment requires.
