Notes:

* MSc has been approved by the Senate (Meeting 1st/19.6.2024) and its formal publication is expected by the Greek Official Gazette (FEK).

** Acceptable overseas Diplomas that have been issued by Higher Education Academic Institutions:

Certificates issued both by recognized academic Institutions and the Type of the Degree, are part of the National Registry of Recognized Higher Educational Institutes and Academic Degrees of DOATAP (Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center).

HERE you can see and check whether both the Degree from Issuing Academic Institution and the Type of your Studies are part of the National Registry of Recognized Higher Educational Institutes and Academic Degrees of DOATAP.

Moreover, during the process of the above check process and in relevance with the Academic Institution, if in Column Franchise the results of the search process indicate the ‘NO’, then this implies that the receiving institution will be able to authenticate that all studies have been completed overseas. In contrast, if the results of the search process in the Franchise column indicate ‘YES’, then the candidate must submit a certified document from his/her institution about the place that his/her studies were performed.

Authenticity of the Degree

The acceptable Degrees must be carrying the Hague Stamp (APOSTILLE), along with the proper translation either into English or Greek. If this is not the case, then the candidate must communicate with the university from which he/she graduated to send to the electronic address of the Graduate Program a formal copy of his/her Degree, along with an analytical certificate with all the grades of all courses/modules he/she has received.

*** The level of the knowledge of the English language should be: Perfect (C2) or Very Good (C1) or Good (Β2). This can be supported by:

Α) Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD Degree from a recognized higher education academic institution  from overseas, along with a certificate from this academic institution that the studies were in the English language, given that the teaching language is not the official language of the country the institution is located.

Β) The submission of a formal certificate from the authentication issuers of the certificate.

The acceptable certificates can be found HERE.

****Recommendation letters can be submitted electronically at: https://apply.xrh.unipi.gr/systatikes
