Teaching Quality
The primary goal of the Graduate program is the constant improvement of the teaching quality standards. To this end, the program applies the following methodology:
- Constant assessment methods for both teachers and students based on anonymous questionnaires distributed to students at the end of each course,
- Comments and discussion across students with their professors and the Director of the program,
- The design of the courses curricula is planned in a manner that avoids any potential overlapping across courses,
- The organization of weekly research seminars where distinguished (local and overseas) speakers are invited,
Lectures by distinguished speakers from non-academic environments.
Teaching Methods
The Department constantly encourages the employment of various and innovative methods of teaching, such as:
- Online notes,
- Informatics means (Power Point),
- In-class discussion,
- Research homework through the investigation of a question associated with the «real world», along with the employment of real data and the hypotheses development; as a results, students get familiar with research methods that help them to develop their research thinking and knowledge,
The presentation of their homework (usually case studies, literature reviews); as a result, students get familiarized with presentation techniques and how to respond to questions coming from tough audiences.
