CFA Institute Research Challenge 2019

Five members of Finance Club UniPi, Konstantinos Mamais, Giannis Stamatis, Markos Zorzos, Makis Dragatsis and Christos Gitersos are part of the five-member team of the University of Piraeus that excelled at the annual CFA Institute Research Challenge 2019 among 8 other greek universities.
The team, after analysing OTE group, made a presentation of its financial results as well as a proposal for buying, selling or retaining its share, while they also made a detailed presentation of their proposal to a jury composed of professionals in the field of investment and finance in Greece.
Our team then represented Greece and the University of Piraeus in the European part of the competition held in Zurich in April 2019 with the ultimate goal of participating in the World Cup finals in New York. Their excellent performance is an incentive for all of the other members of the Club, while their experience will definitely be useful in the respective future reports of the Club.
