Following the registration process, graduate students receive their Personal Nore, offered by the Secretariat Office. This Note offers: a) username and b) instructions on activating their student account. Upon the activation of their student account, the registered students have access to their personal student account, as well as to all electronic services offered by the University of Piraeus and the Ministry of Education. More specifically, they have access to:

  • the https://sis-portal.unipi.gr/ platform (Online Secretariat Office), through which the are able to:
    • receive information on the offered courses and the corresponding instructors,
    • receive information on their exam grades,
    • apply for their overall grading performance.
  • the e-class service in which they receive information about the description of a course, the needed textbooks and papers, the required homework and any other files necessary for the successful completion of their class,
  • the http://academicid.minedu.gov.gr, through which they can obtain their personal student ID,
  • the distant VPN service, through which they can take advantage of the distant electronic university services available (i.e., access to electronic books, journals and databases offered by the Library), have access to distant networks,
  • the Microsoft software (Microsoft Office 365 Education Plus), as well as to other educational software material (described on site https://helpdesk.unipi.gr/software/),
  • the Wifi university network,
  • services offer via ΕDYTE, such as:
    • Euro-where student network
    • Educational Cloud (~okeanos)
    • ViMa platform (Virtual Machines) for hosting Services, Experiments and Applications
    • online file storing (Pithos+)
    • network meetings (e:Presence)
    • activities transmission (DIAYLOS)
