Information
Dimitris Voliotis is Associate Professor of Mathematical Economics and Game Theory. Since joining University of Piraeus in 2009, Dimitris has contributed to the design and implementation of the department’s teaching and research programmes. Prior to joining the department he was Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers of the Ministry of Finance.
Research
His research focuses on economic theory with applications in monetary economics and finance, strategic market games and auction theory. Also, he is research director of Laboratory for Energy and Environmental Management.
