short bio
Dimitris Voliotis ia an Assistant Professor at the University of Piraeus. He conducts research on applied game theory with focus on strategic market games. He aims to understand the role of strategic behavior in market institutions, and their effect in optimal policy decision making. Before joining academia he served as an Economist at the Council of Economic Advisors of the Hellenic Ministry of Finance. He has been visiting lecturer at the doctoral program of University of Athens and at the graduate program of the department of applied mathematics of the National Technical University of Athens.
