Το Τμήμα Χρηματοοικονομικής και Τραπεζικής Διοικητικής, της Σχολής Χρηματοοικονομικής και Στατιστικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, αναγνωρίζεται στα κορυφαία διεθνώς.

Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2018 ήταν 21ο διεθνώς, σε σύνολο 415 τμημάτων, στην κατάταξη του RePEC και 8ο στην Ευρώπη  (http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.finecon.html).
