Το Τμήμα Χρηματοοικονομικής και Τραπεζικής Διοικητικής, της Σχολής Χρηματοοικονομικής και Στατιστικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, αναγνωρίζεται στα κορυφαία διεθνώς.

Τον Μάιο του 2019 ήταν 23ο διεθνώς, σε σύνολο 435 ομοειδών  τμημάτων (δηλαδή στο top 5%) στην κατάταξη του RePEC και 9ο στην Ευρώπη  (http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.finecon.html).
